Cutting a board lengthwise or parallel to the grain is a rip cut. The motor can swivel parallel with the fence when Original Saw Company’s Rip Kit is ordered and installed on a woodcutting Radial Arm Saw. Then the Radial Arm Saw can cut wider boards into narrower pieces by rip cutting.
Original Saw Company’s Rip Kits for 14/16″ Radial Arm Saws include an anti-kickback assembly for added safety precautions.
